Overview
prismCalc is built by LaClair Technologies with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data. All calculations are performed locally on your device.
Data We Do Not Collect
prismCalc does not collect any of the following:
- Personal information such as your name, email, or phone number.
- Device identifiers or advertising identifiers.
- Usage analytics or behavioral data.
- Location data.
- Calculation history or input data.
- Crash reports or diagnostics sent to us.
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync, your calculation history is stored in your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. LaClair Technologies has no access to your iCloud data. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the app's settings.
In-App Purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. LaClair Technologies does not receive or store payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details. Purchase records are managed by your Apple Account.
Third-Party Services
prismCalc does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external connections the app makes are to Apple's servers for StoreKit purchase verification and CloudKit iCloud sync if you enable it. iCloud sync is turned off by default.
Widgets and Siri
Home Screen widgets and Siri Shortcuts operate on-device. Widget data is shared between the app and widget extension through a local App Group container on your device.
Children's Privacy
prismCalc does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
